Channels based Content Management:
Using Channels (Web Site Divisions that control User Access) a Web Site owner can allocate areas of the Web Site for specific users or groups of users.
Users can have Read Only Access to content or can have various Roles assigned to their profile that allow them to carry out certain tasks, like Editing content, Publishing content, Approving content before publication, adding and deleting pages and so-on.
Profiles, Roles and Membership are controlled by the underlying Microsoft® .NET Framework⢠and all content data is stored in a SQL Server 2005 database.
Multiple Channels - Multiple Micro Sites:
Not only can Administrators create unlimited Channels, each channel has the capability to be unique in design, look and feel, with different components, menus and site maps allowing multiple micro sites to act as portals for specific user groups, types and interests. Users can be assigned different Roles for any of the Channels.
Channels can be versioned by native language using localization, each user can choose the language they wish to view the micro site in.
